2022 AGM: Chairman's address
Marina Bellini, Director, Digital and Information will step down from the Management Board on 31 March 2022 and will leave BAT on 31 July 2022 to pursue new opportunities. Yesterday, the U.S. International Trade Commission issued its Final Determination that Philip Morris and Altria’s IQOS products infringe two patents owned by the BAT Group. As a result, the ITC issued an order preventing Philip Morris and Altria from importing the infringing products, the IQOS 2.4, IQOS 3, IQOS 3 Duo and their accompanying Heatsticks into the United States and preventing Philip Morris USA and Altria Client Services from selling already imported IQOS and Heatsticks in the United States.

BAT’s US Bio-tech arm, Kentucky BioProcessing (KBP) today announced plans to commence a Phase I first-time-in-human study of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate following approval of its Investigational New Drug application by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Enrolment for the study is expected to begin shortly.

(BTI:NYSE) (“BAT”) has been notified of an unsolicited “mini-tender” offer by TRC Capital Corporation (“TRC”) to purchase up to 2,000,000 American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”), or approximately 0.087 percent of the outstanding issued ordinary shares of BAT (excluding treasury shares) as at the close of business on 16 August 2017, at a price of $60.13 per ADS in cash. Each ADS represents one ordinary share of BAT. TRC’s offer price is approximately 4.42 percent less than the closing price of BAT’s ADSs on 11 August 2017, the day before the mini-tender offer commenced.

("Reynolds") that it does not already own (the "Proposed Acquisition")."
In 2014 the requirement for UK listed companies to produce an Interim Management Statement (IMS") was removed. In July 2016, it was announced that British American Tobacco p.l.c. would no longer publish a quarterly IMS, and would instead issue short trading updates prior to start of the closed periods for the Interim and the Full Year results.
