British American Tobacco express their condolences to the family of Sir Patrick Sheehy

The Board of British American Tobacco, the management team and all the company's employees express their condolences to the family of Sir Patrick Sheehy, who died on 22 July 2019. Sir Patrick joined the board in 1970 and was Chairman of British American Tobacco from 1982 until 1995. 

“Sir Patrick had a very successful career at British American Tobacco and will be missed by all who knew him, and worked with him,” said the company’s Chairman, Richard Burrows.

Jack Bowles, Chief Executive, added: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sir Patrick. The thoughts of all at British American Tobacco are with his family at this difficult time.”
