British American Tobacco - Luc Jobin

Luc was appointed to the Board of British American Tobacco p.l.c. as a Non-Executive Director on 25 July 2017 and was appointed as Chair from the conclusion of the Company’s 2021 AGM. He is also Chair of the Nominations Committee.

Luc brings significant financial, regulatory and M&A experience to the Board, together with extensive North American knowledge and experience of enterprise transformation and consumer and customer businesses.

During his executive career, Luc was President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian National Railway Company from July 2016 until March 2018, having served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2009. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Power Corporation of Canada (an international financial services company) from 2005 to 2009. Luc was Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Tobacco Canada from 2003 to 2005 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1998 to 2003.

Luc previously served as an independent Non-Executive Director of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) from 2008 until its acquisition by the Group.
