British American Tobacco - Darrell Thomas

Darrell was appointed to the Board of British American Tobacco p.l.c. as a Non-Executive Director on 7 December 2020. He is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominations Committee.

Darrell brings valuable international experience to the Board, particularly in finance and treasury. He previously held several senior finance positions including Interim Chief Financial Officer for Harley-Davidson, Inc., Chief Financial Officer for Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Inc.,Vice President and Treasurer for Harley-Davidson, Inc. and Vice President and Assistant Treasurer, PepsiCo, Inc. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Inc. Darrell had a nineteen-year career in banking with Commerzbank Securities, Swiss Re New Markets, ABN Amro Bank and Citicorp/Citibank where he held various capital markets and corporate finance roles. 

Darrell currently serves on the boards of Dorman Products Inc., Scotia Holdings (US) Inc. and Vontier Corporation, as a member of the Finance Committee of the Sojourner Family Peace Center, and was formerly a Director of Pitney Bowes Inc..
