Our 2022 Half-Year Results demonstrate how continued growth momentum in New Categories is driving Faster Transformation at BAT.
The HYR 22 results, published today, show that Group revenue was up 3.7%* in the six months to 30 June 2022, with adjusted profit from operations up 4.9%*.
New Categories revenue grew by 45%* in the first six months of the year while the number of consumers** using our non-combustible products broke the 20m milestone for the first time, rising by 2.1m*** to 20.4m.
In his Chief Executive’s statement, Jack Bowles said: “I am very proud that our continued New Categories growth momentum is driving Faster Transformation, with revenue growth of 45%* in the first half of 2022, on top of 51%* growth in FY2021. We are delivering both strong operational performance and transforming the business.
“Our A Better Tomorrow purpose, partnered with our well-established multi-category strategy, continues to drive growth.”
