Lukasz Garbowski of Btomorrow Ventures (BTV) has been named as a Global Corporate Venturing ‘Rising Star’ of 2022.
Lukasz, investment director and co-founder of BTV – BAT’s corporate venture unit – was one of 50 people to be listed in the prestigious ranking.
The annual awards are given to the rising stars who have joined the corporate venture capital community within the past five years. The winners have made a name for themselves, their unit and the industry as a whole and represent the top 0.5% of the industry.
The rigorous selection process involved researching more than 20,000 industry professionals across more than 2,500 corporate venturing units.
Lukasz said: “It’s a great honour to land this award and is recognition of the hard work of everyone in the team.

The award for Lukasz comes after BTV’s Managing Director, Lisa Smith was named in the top 100 Global Corporate Venturing Powerlist 2021 .
